Our Story
HeadStart was created to bridge the critical gap between academic excellence and real-world readiness. We recognise that true preparation goes beyond grades—it requires developing the whole individual. At HeadStart, we emphasise Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and holistic growth, equipping students with the confidence, clarity, and curiosity needed to navigate both school and life successfully.
Through a structured and personalised approach, we help students cultivate self-awareness, set meaningful goals, and pursue impactful opportunities—ranging from passion projects and academic research to internships, summer programs, and competitive scholarships. Shivendra Agarwal
Shivendra is a seasoned educational consultant with over two decades of experience in the global education sector.
As Co-Founder of HeadStart, he brings expertise in college admissions, profile building, and international academic planning. His strategic global insight and commitment to mentorship have helped countless students and families navigate the path to higher education with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Meetu Chawla
With over 15 years of experience, Meetu is a Social-Emotional Skills Coach and High School Mentor who empowers students to navigate academics with confidence and purpose.
She specialises in emotional intelligence, college readiness, and passion project mentoring, using a holistic, evidence-based approach backed by an ICF coaching certification and executive education from Stanford Medicine.

HeadStart was founded by Meetu Chawla and Shivendra Aggarwal, two passionate educators and mentors who have spent years working with high school students, helping them discover their potential and gain admission to some of the world’s top universities.
Together, Meetu and Shivendra have designed and led a wide range of programs spanning career exploration, college guidance, and life skills development. Their deep understanding of both the college admissions landscape and the mental & emotional journeys of teenagers forms the foundation of HeadStart’s philosophy.
